Remember to Register for Parking Permits in time for the 2022 State Fair

Dear Fair West Neighbors

The State Fair is happening September 8th-18th, 2022. If you haven’t already done so, renew or register for your parking permit(s) soon! Residents have 2 different options to renew or register — online and in person.

Option 1 is to pick up your permit(s) at the Parking Division Office at City Hall, 1 Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Hours are  Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Scheduled appointments can be made at (505) 924-3950 or by email at parking@cabq.gov.

For those who would like to obtain their permit(s) in person. You can fill out the form in advance by clicking this link On-Street Parking Permit Application.

Option 2 is to register/receive your parking permit(s) online at https://cabqparkingpermits.rmcpay.com. If you want the convenience of using the online option, there is a $25.00 fee per permit.

Parking Permits only affect residents in the 200 through 900 blocks: CAGUA DR.
LAGUAYRA DR.
CARDENAS DR.
VALENCIA DR.
and ALVARADO DR.

For Property Owners the following is required each year:

  • Valid and current Government issued ID card
  • Current Motor Vehicle Registration
  • Proof of Ownership or Property Tax Bill
  • A current utility bill that displays the owner’s name AND address
