Fair West Neighborhood Association (FWNA) Annual General Meeting

Please join Fair West Neighbors at our 2023 Annual General Meeting at: ENCHANTMENT DANCING STUDIO, 337 SAN PEDRO DR NE SUNDAY APRIL 30TH AT 1:00 P.M. Come to learn about ways you can become involved in FWNA and about upcoming events in and around the neighborhood!

Agenda :

  • Discuss neighborhood affairs, projects, and issues for the next year
  • Board officer reports
  • Elect a new president to the executive board to replace Sharon Lawson, who has unfortunately had to resign her position. According to the Bylaws Article IV, section 2, Officers are elected to a two-year term, and under Section 5a board of directors shall have first consideration for nomination. Eric Sutton, the current FWNA board member, has been nominated for this position
  • Elect five people to the board of directors, in accordance with the Bylaws, Article IV, Section 2, to serve a two-year term. If you are interested in joining the board you may put your hat in the ring at the meeting.
  • Meet and greet after the meeting.

You’re Invited to Revitalize San Pedro Business Connections Gathering!

The Revitalize San Pedro Partnership is excited to host the third RSPP Business Connections gathering! Come enjoy some great local food and beverages and get acquainted with your fellow businesses and neighborhood leaders.

Special guests at our February 15th meeting include Laura Kuehn, APD Crime Prevention/Crime Free Programs; Charlene Romero, APD Southeast Area Command’s new Crime Prevention Specialist; and Carissa Vender (invited), Small Business Liaison, City of Albuquerque.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 15, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
WHERE: Navajo Elks Lodge, 525 San Pedro Dr. NE, suite 108

The RSPP is a group of neighborhood associations (Alvarado Park, Fair West, Mark Twain, Mile Hi), businesses and residents that have partnered with the City of Albuquerque and New Mexico MainStreet to promote the unique features of San Pedro Drive between I-40 and Central Avenue and work toward solutions to challenges within this Corridor.


We hope you’ll join us on Feb. 15th to learn about our new 18-month Action Plan that will help guide our organizational development and take important steps forward to help tackle critical issues like safety, crime, and economic growth and vitality.
