You’re Invited | FWNA Scary Supper 🎃

Let’s eat, drink, and be scary!

Please join us Tuesday, Oct 31st for our annual Scary Supper in Fox Memorial Park from 5:00 PM to Dusk.

This is a fun event where neighbors arrive in their best disguises and show off their great costumes before the trick-or-treating begins!

FWNA will provide the scary supper, but this event needs support. If you wish to donate or volunteer, please contact Paul at Paulsanchez7771@gmail.com by Friday, October 27th.

Share with your neighbors. Hope to see you there.

Fair West Neighborhood Cleanup

Saturday, September 30th at 10:00 AM. We’ll meet in the park near the Fair West sign and bench at the corner of Marquette and Alvarado.

Trash bags will be provided (hopefully gloves too). Recommend to bring gloves if you have them and wear comfortable walking shoes. Also, it may be helpful to bring a wheelbarrow or cart to transport trash bags along the route.

The plan is to walk from the park roughly along the following path:

Total distance is about 1 mile. We’ll pick up trash on the way, check out a few homes that’ll need extra attention in the future, and then loop back. Should arrive back at the park around 11:00 – 11:30 AM. It should be pretty enjoyable and easy!

Nick Hamill is organizing this year’s cleanup; he will be wearing a grey hoodie, sporting a bushy beard, and pushing a wheelbarrow. Also, if you’re on the Nextdoor app, Nick has created a new group Stronger Fair West.

Hope you’ll join us on Saturday and tell your neighbors!
