Participate in APD’s Mission and Vision Update

What do you want to see Albuquerque Police Department prioritize? What does a successful police department look like to you? 

Take part in the process to update the mission statement and vision statement that guides APD’s work. Unique and various perspectives are critical to help inform the drafting of their updated mission and vision statement.

Your participation is important! APD is respectfully requesting support in two different ways:

1) complete a short, anonymous survey at

2) participate in a focus group

Internal focus groups will be offered to APD personnel. Any input provided through a focus group and/or a survey response will be anonymous and the information collected will be analyzed and given consideration.
